QUESTION OF THE DAY: Does Missouri need a ‘red flag’ law on guns?

Red flag laws are in the spotlight after a Buffalo mass shooting in which the suspect had a history of threats.

The laws allow loved ones and police to petition courts to take away guns from someone who might harm themselves or others. However, such laws have their critics and are not on the books in most states, including Missouri.
