Stover man charged for possession of child pornography

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Morgan County prosecutor has charged a Stover man for possession of child pornography.

In a release, Morgan County Sheriff's deputies began investigating Abbott on Wednesday after a tip from a witness. During the investigation, Abbott gave his phone to deputies and deputies found six images of child porn on his found according to court documents.

According to online court records, Abbott has a 96-hour hold that began on Thursday.
