COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Casey's General Store on Range Line Street.

According to a news release, the robbery happened around 6:10 a.m. Friday.

Police said a man went into the store with a gun and demanded cash. The robber got away with an unspecified amount of money.

Investigators said no one was hurt.

Employees at Casey's said that the crew that was working at the time was sent home and people were brought in to cover their shifts.
