Moberly man charged for child pornography
MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Moberly man was arrested for child pornography after an investigation began in October 2020 in Boone County.
A tip to the Boone County Sheriff's Office Cyber Crimes Task Force from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children showed a person in the Moberly area had uploaded files considered to be sexual abuse material depicting 8 to 12-year-old children engaging in sex acts to cloud storage.
Law enforcement identified the account holder as 21-year-old Jacob Munoz, of Moberly.
In April 2021, law enforcement seized Munoz's electronic devices after a search warrant was issued for the residence.
Munoz is charged with second degree child pornography (one video or 20 images).
Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.
