Fulton woman suspected of grocery store arson
FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)
Police arrested a Fulton woman Wednesday on allegations that she started a fire in the basement of the Moser's grocery store.
Pamela J. Cordrey, a store employee who was working at the time of the fire, was booked into the Callaway County Jail without bond on suspicion of first-degree arson, the Fulton Police Department said in a news release. Information about her case was not available in online court records Thursday morning.
Police and firefighters were called to the fire at 2020 N. Business 54 at about 2 p.m. Wednesday. The state fire marshal was called in to help investigate and authorities determined a fire was intentionally set in the basement, police say. The fire caused "substantial damage" to the basement, according to the release.
