Officers found a woman who claimed Asberry had assaulted her when they arrived at the house, according to a Columbia Police Department news release. Police said their investigation showed the fire had been set inside the home.

Police said the woman was taken to a hospital for her injuries. The release did not give her condition.

No other details were released.

Asberry was not listed on the Boone County Jail roster Wednesday morning and charges were not available in online court records.
