Probable cause statement reveals how much child pornography seized in Fulton arrest
FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Fulton man is charged with five counts of possession of child porn but a probable cause statement reports 11,000 photos and four videos seized during the investigation.
According to officials, a domestic disturbance call came in on Oct. 24, 2019, that began the investigation.
According to the Fulton PD release, Kirk Buffington is accused of being in possession of child pornography. During the investigation, several electronics were seized.
According to court documents, Boone County Cyber Crimes analyzed the electronics and found 11,000 photos and the four videos.
In the court documents, the reporting officer said that based on his training after the investigation into the videos and photos that all the girls appeared to be under the age of 14.
On 11/13/2020 the Fulton Police Department arrested Buffington on those allegations and transported him to the Callaway County Jail.
Buffington is currently at the Callaway County Jail being held without bond.
