Cole County man arrested after pulling gun on man

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Cole County sheriff's deputies arrested a Jefferson City man after he allegedly pulled and pointed a gun at someone on Friday night.

According to a Cole County probable cause statement, deputies responded to a report of a man taking a gun away from a highly intoxicated man.

According to court documents, Dennis Anderson pulled a gun on a man in the 5400 block of W. Business 50 Lot 29 Friday night.

Anderson allegedly pulled the gun and pointed the gun against the cheek of the victim before the victim took the gun from Anderson, according to court documents.

In the probable cause statement, Anderson was arrested for assault - second degree, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
