The man arrested after a standoff in central Columbia Wednesday night faces multiple felony charges linked to a case from June.

Boone County prosecutors charged Tori Rose, 31, of Columbia, with a count each of burglary, domestic assault, stealing and tampering with a motor vehicle all linked to an incident.

Police said in a news release Wednesday Rose had active warrants connected to the June incident, as well as, a federal weapons charge.

A woman told Columbia police Rose kicked down the front door of her residence in the early morning hours of June 24.

According to Rose's probable cause statement, he hit the woman multiple times, took her phone and stole her car.

The victim told police Rose kicked her multiple times in the face after she fell to the ground. Officers said multiple clumps of the woman's hair were found on the ground inside the residence.

Police said the woman had bumps and bruises on her body after the suspected attack.

According to the probable cause statement, the woman said Rose threatened to kill her in the past and that he has assaulted her numerous times before.

Police did not say what led up to the assault and burglary.

As of Thursday, Rose was held in the Boone County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
