COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police are asking for the public's help to find the person who robbed a credit union Tuesday.

Police made the appeal Saturday for information in the robbery of United Credit Union in south Columbia. Police say a man about 6 feet tall went into the credit union Tuesday afternoon with a handgun and drove away in a dark four-door sedan after the robbery.

The man was last seen wearing a multicolored hoodie with a gold dollar sign on its left side. Police released surveillance images Saturday and are asking anyone who has information regarding suspicious people or vehicles in the area of the credit union on Falling Leaf Lane to call 573-874-7652.
