SUNDAY UPDATES: Missouri’s positivity rate hovers just under 4 percent

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 210 new cases of COVID-19 Sunday, bringing the total up to 509,520 cases since the start of the pandemic.

In addition, the state also reported 83 new probable cases found through antigen testing. That total now sits at 86,742.

No new deaths were reported on Sunday, keeping Missouri's death toll at 9,006.

The 7-day positivity rates stayed steady at 3.9% on Sunday.

In Missouri's hospitals, 675 people are currently dealing with COVID-19 infections. Of those, 145 are in the ICU and 84 are on ventilators.

About 40,9% of the state's population have recieved at least on dose of the coronavirus vaccine. That's 2,511,596 Missourians. Of those, 2,077,775 people have finhed the process, which is about 33.9% of the population.

Now, more than 51.3% of the state's adult population have received the vaccine, and 43.1% have finished the process.

In total, 4,445,358 doses have been given out in the Show-Me State.
