An independent committee could vote on whether to recommend FDA approval of a one-shot coronavirus vaccine this week.

The approval of Johnson & Johnson's vaccine would mean millions more doses would be available. Public officials are already making plans for how they'll use the additional doses.

However, the one-shot vaccine might not be as effective at preventing COVID-19 as its two-shot brethren. That has led some experts to speculate that some people might not want to take it, instead preferring the other available vaccines.

Would you take the one-shot vaccine? Answer in the poll below.
