Governor Mike Parson updated Missourians again yesterday on the statewide stay-at-home order that will go into effect tomorrow.

Parson spoke about how everyone's participation is essential.

"How we will get through COVID-19 is by working together, all of us," Parson said.

The "Stay Home Missouri" order will be in effect at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, April 6. It is scheduled to last until 11:59 p.m. on April 24.

Residents in the state are told not to leave their houses unless necessary. Everyone must also avoid social gatherings of more than ten people.

Public schools and charters will also be required to remained closed throughout the entirety of this order. Several school districts extended their online-learning period in response.

However, Missourians will still be able to leave their homes for essential business. This includes some workplaces, grocery stores, gas stations, and banks, among others. Essential businesses are required to limit the number of people inside to 25% of their capacity.
