CPS offering free meals, internet hotspots for students
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Columbia Public Schools plans to start up its Grab-and-Go meal service Monday.
CPS will have eight buses, taking eight separate routes, to bring food to students under the age of 17. The times of the stops range anywhere from 9 a.m. to just 12 p.m.
The only requirement for students and families is to meet the bus at its designated stop and time in order to pick up their meal. Students can choose the stop that is closest to their home.
A full list of the routes as well as times is available in the document below.
The district is also offering free hotspots for students in need of the internet during the period of remote learning. Students can access Wi-Fi outside of any district building until 10 p.m. each night. District officials just ask that students remember social distancing if outside of the school.
