Cooper County traffic stop leads to 117 pounds of marijuana seized
COOPER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
According to a probable cause statement, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper seized 117 pounds of marijuana and one pound of THC wax was seized on Oct. 12.
According to the court documents, Sgt. Johnson stopped a vehicle for crossing the line multiple times within a short distance.
The driver, Wanda Sarver, gave multiple reasons for the infraction but Sgt. Johnson says she "displayed multiple indicators of criminal activity" according to the probable cause statement.
A patrol canine was called in and positively alerted to the vehicle according to court documents.
Troopers found the marijuana in vacuum seaded bags and THC wax in a bank bang according to the pc statement.
Sarver is charged with trafficking drugs - 2nd degree. A $50,000 cash or surety bond was issued on Wednesday.
