Columbia city offices closed for MLK Day, trash services impacted

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

City of Columbia offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and some city services will be impacted, a Monday release from the city says.

Curbside trash and recycling will not be collected on Monday and all pickup will be delayed one day for the rest of the week, the release says. Go COMO routes will also not run and parking enforcement is suspended for the day, the release says.

Monday’s City Council meeting will be moved to Tuesday, Jan. 21. The Activity and Recreation center will be open during its normal hours.

Emergency services are not impacted.
