Columbia Public Schools to have delayed start on Friday; Jefferson City School District closed
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Winter weather is entering Mid-Missouri on Thursday evening and Friday morning and area schools are being impacted once again.
Columbia Public Schools will have a two-hour delayed start on Friday, district spokeswoman Michelle Baumstark wrote on her social media. Buses will run two hours later than their regular pick up time. CPS had multiple earlier this week because of road conditions from this past weekend’s storm.

This means buses will pick up two hours later than their original scheduled pick-up time.

A number of area schools have called off classes for Friday, including Southern Boone, New Bloomfield, Iberia, California and South Callaway.
The Jefferson City School District announced it would be closed on Friday.
