COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia’s public bus system Go COMO will begin using the SPOT application, according to a press release from the City of Columbia.

The application is a product of ETA Transit and is now available for users to track buses in real time, view bus schools and receive alerts, the release says.

Go COMO currently uses the DoubleMap application, but is switching to the new application after DoubleMap’s provider decided it will stop supporting it on Dec. 31, the release says. Go COMO will also continue to use that application until Dec. 31, the release says.

Go COMO plans to make several announcements to riders about the new app in November and December, the release says.
