Section of Scott Boulevard in Columbia closed after crash, car seen flipped in roadway
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Both lanes of Scott Boulevard in Columbia were closed Thursday after a crash involved multiple vehicles.
Multiple vehicles were seen crashed near the intersection of Scott Boulevard and Millbrook Drive and one vehicle was flipped upside down. All lanes were reopened by 7:50 p.m.
An ABC 17 News reporter saw at least four vehicles that appeared to be involved in the crash.
Three Columbia Police Department vehicles, three Columbia Fire Department vehicles and an ambulance were at the scene.
Boone County Joint Communications sent a notification at 6:38 p.m. stating that Scott and Millbrook ere shut down in both directions because of a vehicle collision.
Four vehicles were involved in the crash and three people were brought to an area hospital, according to Columbia Fire Department spokeswoman Katherine Rodriguez. The extent of the injuries was not immediately available.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
A tow truck arrived at 7:27 p.m.
