Capri Drive in Columbia blocked by first responders
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Columbia police were seen Tuesday evening in an area off of East Broadway, adjacent to Stephens Lake Park.
Capri Drive was blocked off by first responders around 10 p.m.
Four police vehicles were seen at Villa Capri Apartments when an ABC 17 News reporter arrived at 9:28 p.m. An ABC 17 News staff member had also seen law enforcement throughout East Broadway. One vehicle left at 9:43 p.m. and a Columbia Fire Department truck arrived to the scene at 9:55 p.m. The firetruck left at 10:33 p.m.
The fire truck had its ladder extended at one point.
Columbia Police Department spokesman Brian McNeill did not have any additional information at 9:42 p.m.
Columbia Fire Department spokeswoman Katherine Rodriguez told ABC 17 News that the department was called to assist law enforcement at 9:51 p.m.
