COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

City of Columbia Utility customers who use auto-pay features on their utility bills will have to enroll in a new system before their March bill is due, according to a Monday release from the city.

According to the release, the city is transitioning its utility autopay to the finance department’s new platform, PayCoMo. Existing automatic utility payment plans will be canceled starting with bills issued after March 1, the release states. Customers will need to create a PayCoMo profile and enroll in AutoPay through PayCoMo at least three days before their March utility bill due date to continue with automatic payments, the release says.

Enrolling in AutoPay through PayCoMo profile for connected accounts will automatically discontinue existing Utility AutoPay plan, the release says.

The release claims affected customers have been contacted through email and a letter will be sent out this week. The release says customers who are experiencing issues should call the City Utility customer service line at 573-874-7380 or email UCS@CoMo.gov.
