Hy-Vee, Schnucks to be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Hy-Vee and Schnucks have announced in separate press releases that their locations will be closed on Thanksgiving (Nov. 23) and Christmas.

Schnucks announced its holiday hours in a Thursday press release and Hy-Vee announced its holiday hours in a Monday release.

The holiday closures affect all Schnucks, Eatwell, Hy-Vee grocery stores, Dollar Fresh Markets, Hy-Vee Fast and Fresh locations, according to the releases. Customers will still be able to pay at the pump for at Hy-Vee gas stations on

Both store chains have locations in Columbia and Jefferson City.

Hy-Vee’s press release stated customers who purchase holiday meal packs will be able to schedule a time to pick up their order in-store prior to the Thanksgiving holiday or via curbside pickup from 8-11 a.m. Nov. 23.
