COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Multiple law enforcement agencies and other first responders will be holding an emergency training exercise at Columbia Regional Airport Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Officials say emergency personnel will respond to a simulated plane crash where volunteers will act as crash victims while local EMS and law enforcement officials respond as they would to a real emergency.

This exercise allows community partners to prepare in case of a real emergency at Columbia Regional Airport.

The exercise will have no impact on scheduled flights.
