Roots N Blues Festival announces 2022 lineup
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Roots N Blues Festival has announced headliners and the lineup for the three-day festival held at Stephens Lake Park.
On Oct. 7, Wilco will headline the night going on at 8:30 with Tanya Tucker, Hippo Campus, Jaime Wyatt, The Kay Brothers and Meredith Shaw playing throughout the afternoon.
On Oct. 8, J.ARTiz & the MO' Soul Collective, Sifa, Kassi Ashton, The Dip, Jackie Venson, Cautious Clay, Tank and the Bangas, Larkin Poe, Chaka Khan will play throughout the day and Jon Batiste will finish the night at 8:30.
Bleachers, Old Crow Medicine Show, Houndmouth, The Steeldrivers, Brittney Spencer, Liz Cooper, the Heavy Heavy and Jen Norman will play on Oct. 9. Bleachers will finish the night beginning at 7 p.m.
Festivalgoers can get admission with either a day pass or a three-day pass.
The festival returned last year following the 2020 cancellation due to the coronavirus.
Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau did an economic impact study on the most recent Roots N Blues festival in 2019. It showed that the festival brings in about $2.7 million to the economy.
