Tickets now available for new Greyhound bus stop in Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Tickets are now available for a new Greyhound bus stop in Columbia. Starting Wednesday, Greyhound lines is opening its new stop at the Wabash Bus Station in Columbia.

The new stop will provide Columbia residents access to places like St. Louis and Kansas City. There will be two stops a day one at 1:40 p.m. and the other at 8:10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Customers who want to use the Wabash Bus Station have to purchase tickets online or can get tickets in-person from the Midway Truck Stop and Travel Plaza.

As of Wednesday morning, tickets from Columbia to Kansas City using the Wabash station were $36 for economy.

Previously, the only stop available for Columbia residents was at the Midway Truck Stop and Travel Plaza, which will remain open.

Back in July, when city council was voting on adding the Wabash station, it said there would be no extra costs for Greyhound lines to utilize the station.
