City of Columbia recycling bag vouchers scheduled to arrive next week

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia residents should expect their recycling and trash bag vouchers in the mail next week.

Solid waste customers will get two vouchers which are for 26 count rolls of black trash bags and an 18 count roll of blue recycling bags.

The vouchers are perforated, and customers are asked to separate them and use only as needed. The single-use vouchers are tracked by bar code and therefore cannot be duplicated.

If anyone does not get their vouchers by June 25th, city officials ask you to contact the city's bag contractor at 1-800-866-3954 or customerservice@wastezero.com. Vouchers will be mailed to the service address, regardless of who is paying for the Utilities.
