WATCH REPLAY: Health director updates Columbia City Council on coronavirus efforts

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The director of the city/county health department will update the Columbia City Council on the coronavirus pandemic and local health orders Tuesday.

Stephanie Browning, director of the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services, is expected to speak early in the meeting, which begins at 7 p.m.

Browning last week extended the city and county coronavirus health orders that had been set to expire Tuesday. The orders are now in place until Feb. 16.

Those orders include a mask mandate, limits on business capacity and public gatherings and a requirement that bars close early.
