Protesters against police violence gather outside Boone County Courthouse

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A crowd gathered Friday afternoon for the second protest of the day outside the Boone County Courthouse in downtown Columbia.

The protests were sparked by the death of George Floyd, who died after a former Minneapolis police officer held his knee on Floyd's neck. The officer was charged Friday with murder and manslaughter.
