A semi-truck fire backed up traffic Monday afternoon along Interstate 70 in Columbia.

The Missouri Department of Transportation warned just after 12:30 p.m. of delays on westbound I-70 near the Rangeline Street exit and the Highway 63 connector. An image from the scene showed what appeared to be a semi-truck smoking.

A little after 1 p.m. MoDOT tweeted a photo from another crash, this one on eastbound I-70 near the Stadium Boulevard exit. The photo showed a truck that had jackknifed in the median.

The second crash did not appear to affect traffic flow.
