Two men seriously hurt in single-vehicle crash in Camden County Saturday night

CAMDEN, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two men were seriously hurt in a car crash in Camden County late Saturday night.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Luis Virgil, 47, was driving North on Avalon Way around 11:50 pm. The report states that the crash happened when Virgil failed to navigate a curve and drove off the left side of the road.

The vehicle then overturned and landed on the driver's side.

Three other men, Mark Showman, 37, Joshua Davison, 34, and Nicholas Dorman, 28, were also reportedly in the car at the time. Nicholas and Showman suffered minor injuries, while Davison was also seriously hurt.

Dorman and Virgil were taken to Lake Regional Hospital, and Davison was taken to University Hospital. Showman allegedly refused treatment at the scene.

According to the report, none of the men were wearing seatbelts.
