More than 100 Ameren outages reported in Callaway County

More than 100 Ameren customers in Callaway County were experiencing a power outage on Monday night.

According to Ameren’s outage map, 128 customers in Callaway County lost power. There were 27 outages reported in Camden County and another eight in Miller County at each outage's peak. At 10:35 p.m., Camden County was down to eight outages and Miller County was down to three.

ABC 17 News reached out to Ameren. The outage in Callaway County was reported near New Bloomfield, according to Ameren’s outage map.

Ameren’s website estimates that power will be restored by 1 a.m. The cause of the outage was not confirmed on Ameren’s website, but storms rolled through the Mid-Missouri area on Monday night.
