MoDOT: Expect ramp closure Sunday along Interstate 70 in Kingdom City

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

MoDOT will be repairing concrete along Interstate 70 beginning overnight next Sunday that will require the closure of entrance and exit ramps along U.S. Route 54 at Kingdom City.

The westbound I-70 exit ramp will close Sunday, April 25, and the westbound entrance ramp will be closed Monday, April 26. The eastbound exit ramp will be closed on Tuesday, April 27. All closures will take place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night.

Motorists accessing or exiting Route 54 at these times will need to seek alternate routes.

This work is part of a project to repair pavement along both directions of the interstate between the Cedar Creek bridge, located east of Columbia, and Kingdom City, in preparation for the upcoming I-70 resurfacing project from Kingdom City to the Boone County line.

This work is weather permitting and could be delayed.
