Dozens of stolen guns recovered while deputies searched for a suspect
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Callaway County Sheriff’s deputies recovered dozens of stolen guns reported stolen in September 2020.
On April 7 while searching for a suspect with an active warrant, Callaway County Sheriff’s deputies found multiple guns in the corner of a shed.
According to a social media post, deputies checked the serial numbers and discovered these guns were reported stolen out of Montgomery County.
During the investigation, Callaway County deputies recovered a total of 32 guns reported stolen from a residence in Middletown during September 2020.
