Boonville police arrest 15 people for drug offenses
BOONVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Boonville Police Department announced on Wednesday night that 15 people are arrested on suspicion of drug offenses and 25 have been indicted.
According to the release, Boonville officers, as well as authorities from multiple Mid-Missouri law enforcement agencies, made the arrests around Cooper County. Columbia police officers, Glasgow police officers, Cooper County deputies, Howard County deputies and Boone County deputies were involved in the investigation.
The more than two dozen people are indicted for various drug offenses. The police department said heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine and prescription drugs were seized in the investigation.
Online court documents don't list charges for the 15 people arrested.
