Nebraska residents taken to hospital after Boone County motorcycle crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man and a woman from Nebraska were taken to University Hospital in Columbia after crashing their motorcycle on Highway 63 on Monday.

Timothy Morris, 45, of Superior, Nebraska, suffered serious injuries in the crash, which happened around 9 a.m.. at Route NN in northern Boone County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The motorcycle hit a deer and ended up in the median. Morris and his rider, Kendra Morris, 45, also of Superior, were thrown from the Harley Davidson, the patrol says.

Kendra Morris suffered moderate injuries.

Neither one was wearing a helmet, according to the crash report.

An update on their conditions was not immediately available Monday.
