Lane of Interstate 70 to close Wednesday night

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One lane of eastbound Interstate 70 will close overnight Wednesday for repairs.

The driving lane will close for pavement repairs near the 136 mile marker, just east of the Centralia/Route Z exit, the Missouri Department of Transportation says in a news release. Closures will start at 7 p.m. and continue until about 6 a.m. Thursday.

The overnight closure will allow the concrete to cure, MoDOT says.
