Boone County Commission passes new round of CARES Act funding

Boone County Commission passed five new CARES Act funding requests totaling $387,108.84.

The commission approved:

  • City of Centralia - $29,508.84
  • The Children's School at Stephens College - $5,300
  • Islamic School of Columbia, Missouri- $3,200
  • Windsor Street Montessori School - $3,700
  • Mizzou Academy - $5,400

The commission also approved an amendment for CARES funding with the City of Columbia for Small Business Assistance Program for $340,000.
