Boone County Sheriff’s department looking for April 2019 shooting suspect

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Court documents reveal that Boone County Sheriff's department has a suspect in an April 3, 2019 shooting.

According to court documents, Qur'an Williams pointed a gun at the victim and shot the victim once in the abdomen area.

The victim was able to finally identify the suspect after a family member showed the victim a picture from social media.

Williams is charged with 1st degree assault and armed criminal action.
