Rapper Lil Baby arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of concealed weapon violation
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Atlanta rapper Lil Baby has been arrested in Las Vegas. Police say he was taken into custody just before dawn Monday after he was found carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, but authorities haven’t released other details. Lil Baby’s lawyers say they’re investigating why he was arrested in the first place even though he has a valid permit in Georgia to carry a concealed weapon. Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones, hasn’t been formally charged with the crime, which is a felony in Nevada. He’s been released from jail after posting bond and is due in court in Las Vegas on Oct. 1.
