Novak Djokovic uses his towel at Wimbledon to help dry the Centre Court grass after a rain delay

WIMBLEDON, England (AP) — Novak Djokovic literally took matters into his own hands on the wet Wimbledon grass by using his towel and some elbow grease to help dry the surface. Djokovic was playing in the opening match of this year’s tournament on Centre Court. That is the traditional spot for the defending men’s champion at the All England Club. The rain started just as Djokovic won the first set 6-3. The second-seeded Serb jumped into action when they returned to the court and it was still damp. He used a white towel like a fan in an attempt to dry the grass. Djokovic says “I normally come out with rackets, not with towels.”
