Divers find body in search for missing California teen girl

TRUCKEE, Calif. (AP) — Volunteer divers say they found a car with a body inside it in the search for a missing 16-year-old girl in Northern California. The group called Adventures with Purpose said they found a car with a matching license plate Sunday in the Prosser Reservoir. That’s where Kiely Rodni of Truckee attended a party with hundreds of young people on Aug. 6. The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that the FBI joined investigators at the scene and that authorities had not immediately confirmed the body’s identity. They plan a news conference Monday morning to reveal more details.
