NEW ORLEANS (AP) — In a story published March 7, 2022, The Associated Press incorrectly described the period of time in which Louisiana resident Chris Kinney had his electricity disconnected eight times and was billed for about $6,400 in electrical charges and over $1,250 for being late. The disconnections and charges did not happen over two years. They occurred from May 2019 through the end of 2021, which is closer to three years.
