Man convicted in deaths of 3 people in Kirksville
KIRKSVILLE, Mo . (AP) — A 53-year-old northeast Missouri man has been convicted in the shooting deaths of three people, including a toddler. Ray Rijos, of Kirksville, was found guilty Wednesday of three counts of second-degree murder and three other charges. He and another man were accused of killing 22-year-old Braxton Cottrill, 18-month-old Parker Sizemore and 18-year-old Alissa Anders. They were shot at a Kirksville duplex on Dec. 30, 2021. A fourth person was shot and survived. Anders, who was pregnant, died on Jan. 25, 2022, after her baby was delivered by emergency C-section and survived. Another man, Anquan “AJ” Glover, is scheduled for trial in June on 14 charges, including three counts of first-degree murder.
