Man dies Saturday in St. Louis after being shot in the head

ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis recorded its first homicide of the year on New Year’s Day. Police said a man was found dead in a gas station parking lot in the city’s Carondelet neighborhood around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Police said the man had been shot in the head. No other details about the shooting were released Saturday.
