Tracking brutal heat, low chance of storms tomorrow

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy and muggy, with lows in the upper 70s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and very hot, with a heat index near 105. An isolated storm is possible north of Hwy 50 in the afternoon, capable of damaging winds and hail, but almost everyone stays dry.

EXTENDED: ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Days have been extended through Friday evening for extreme heat, with a heat index up to 105 degrees each afternoon this week. Rain chances will be very low, aside from a storm or two on Wednesday and Thursday as systems pass by to our north. We remain under the grip of a heat dome to our south, keeping the heat and humidity locked in for the weekend.
