Nearly 1500 customers in Columbia without power

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

1461 customers are without power in Columbia Thursday morning as storms roll through Mid-Missouri.

The City of Columbia outage map shows two incidents affecting customers. One outage is reported near N. Fairview Road and the second is south near Chapel Hill Road.

The Boone Electric Cooperative outage map shows 746 customers without power as of 5:20 a.m. Thursday due to 12 outages in Boone County. A majority of customers without power are south of Columbia near Deer Park. Other areas with reported power outages include Hallsville off Route V, Woodlandville, west of Sturgeon and Ashland.

The Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives reports 278 customers in Morgan County are also without power.

Gasconade County reports 227 customers without power, Montgomery County shows 140 without power, and Callaway County reports 102 customers without power as of 5:30 a.m.

Counties like Audrain, Benton, Camden, Cooper, Moniteau and more are reporting fewer than 75 outages per county.
