AUDRAIN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Audrain County Sheriff's Office is searching for a Vandalia man with a felony arrest warrant, a Saturday social media post from the department says.

The post states Michael David Ogden, 40, is wanted on multiple felony charges including kidnapping, domestic assault and burglary.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office shared in a social media post the same day that they received a request from the Audrain County Sheriff's Office to assist with the search for Ogden. He was believed to be at a residence on Monroe Road 224 in Monroe County, the post says.

Deputies from both agencies, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol searched the residence but could not locate Ogden.

However, evidence suggests he had been at the property recently, according to the post.

Authorities say Ogden could still be in the area but it's believed he likely returned to Audrain County.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Monroe County Sheriff's Office at 660-327-4060.
