COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A woman from Georgia was seriously injured early Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near Millersburg, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the report, a 2012 Nissan Frontier – driven by a 21-year-old man from La Fayette, Georgia – rear-ended a 2025 Freightliner that was driven by a 57-year-old man from St. Paul Park, Minnesota.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. A 22-year-old female passenger in the Nissan was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries in the crash, the report says. She was brought to University Hospital by ambulance.
