Winter Storm Warning issued January 3 at 1:55PM CST until January 6 at 6:00AM CST by NWS Springfield MO

* WHAT…Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations between 2 and 5 inches and ice accumulations between
two tenths and one half of an inch.

* WHERE…Benton, Camden, Hickory, Maries, Miller, Morgan, Pulaski,
Phelps, Dallas, and Laclede Counties.

* WHEN…From 6 PM Saturday to 6 AM CST Monday.

* IMPACTS…Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous.
Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
