University of Missouri 2024 winter commencement ceremonies take place Saturday
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The University of Missouri hosted five commencement ceremonies Saturday at Jesse Auditorium and the Hearnes Center.
Locations and times for commencement ceremonies are as follows:
- Sinclair School of Nursing - 8:30 a.m. at Jesse Auditorium
- Honors College - 11 a.m. at Jesse Auditorium
- Graduate Degrees - Noon at Hearnes Center
- College of Arts and Science - 3 p.m. at Hearnes Center
- College of Health Services - 4 p.m. at Jesse Auditorium
Parking is available at the Hearnes Center parking lot, outside of Mizzou Arena, and at the Turner Avenue garage near Jesse Hall.
As new grads and their families may be walking around the area, drivers are encouraged to be cautious when going onto campus.
According to the University of Missouri's website, many items are prohibited inside ceremonies, including air horns, strollers and balloons.
This winter, on the University's website, Mizzou will be welcoming in 1,755 students with 1,875 degrees. Of the awards, there will be 1,371 bachelor's degrees, 375 master's degrees, and 96 doctoral degrees.
Across the graduating class, students represent 42 states and 20 countries as well as 443 online students.
Friday's commencement ceremonies as well as the ones hosted today are available to rewatch and livestream on the university's website.
